Start your journey right – with a pre-wedding feast followed by a perfect night’s sleep.

afternoon

Check Into Your Guest Accommodations
It’s time for you and your loved ones to check in to your private cabins. With room for up to 46 of your closest family and friends, you’ll have the entire property to yourselves to explore and enjoy. The Creekside Cabin, with its out-of-the-way location above Jackson Creek and luxurious Jacuzzi, is a favorite for the bride and groom.

Evening

Rehearsal and Welcome Reception
Following your ceremony rehearsal, you and your wedding party can relax and enjoy the beauty of the Sierra Nevada mountains with dinner, drinks, and relaxed conversation. Our expert planning team will help you plan the perfect menu for dinner on the patio of a historic general store, or connect you with one of our trusted catering partners. After dinner, enjoy hot chocolate by the fire or take in the beauty of a sparkling night sky.

Day Two

Day Two

Relax and unwind before it all begins – the big day you’ve been waiting for.

Morning

Sunrise Activities for the Early-risers
There’s nothing more serene than a cup of coffee with a view, whether you’re rocking on a porch swing or nestled in an Adirondack chair alongside the water, followed by a grounding walk down to the river. For breakfast, enjoy a catered meal in one of our common areas, or whip up bacon and eggs in your cabin.

Energize the Day
A morning adventure is the perfect way to relieve wedding-day jitters, whether it’s a round of golf, a hike up the property’s old stagecoach road for sweeping views of the river and surrounding mountains, or even a float down the river on inner tubes. For some morning mindfulness, we’re happy to connect you with a local yoga instructor for an on-site morning class.

Getting Ready
You won’t have to lift a finger on your wedding day – our trusted partner vendors can bring all of your beauty services right to your bridal suite, from hair to makeup and everything in between. As you and your bridal party get ready, you can enjoy spacious, private areas to get dressed, spend quality time with friends and family, and get ready to say “I do.”

Afternoon

First Look Photos
No matter where you choose to do your “first look” photos, the backdrop will take your breath away. Choose from the forest with its old-growth pine trees towering overhead, a wooden bridge that speaks to the natural beauty of the area, the railroad tracks that point the way forward, an old miner’s cabin with its rustic charm, or anywhere else that captures the essence of you as a couple.

Ceremony and Cocktail Hour
As the sunlight hits the peak of brilliance, it’s time for the big moment. Do you envision getting married beside a rushing river, under the towering forest, or in a lush garden? Choose the perfect place not only to say “I do,” but also to create picture-perfect memories that will last a lifetime. After the ceremony, let the celebration begin with specialty cocktails served on the patio of our historic general store.

Evening

Reception
Enjoy a memorable evening under the stars that begins with a gourmet, expertly prepared meal. Our on-site culinary staff will help you create a menu that perfectly complements your day, and you’re welcome to visit the general store to browse while it’s being prepared. After dinner, it’s time to take to the wooden dance floor under the twinkling lights, and here’s the best part – Twenty Mile House is not under a noise ordinance, so you can play your favorite songs for as long as you like. For a late-night snack, order pizza from Goomba’s or melt s’mores around the fire.

Day Three

day three

Gather for a farewell brunch – or extend the festivities if you’re not ready to say goodbye just yet.

Morning

Check Out and Farewell
Sleep in a little, you’ve earned it! Serve up a delicious post-wedding breakfast in your cabin, or treat your guests to a warm send-off with brunch, either on-site at 9 a.m. or in town after your 10:30 a.m. check-out. Some of the most popular gathering spaces include the Brewing Lair Brewery and Bread and Butter.
