GET READY IN VINTAGE STYLE, MOUNTAIN ELEGANCE, OR RUSTIC CHARM

main twenty mile house, mountain view escape, northfield cabin & More

The Main Guest House, an antique brick home built in 1854, is the place that started it all. Once a bustling general store and post office, its welcoming facade has long served as a beacon of togetherness amid the tall pines. Now, in addition to serving as on-property lodging, it has become a favorite for couples as they get ready for their wedding day. There’s space for the whole party to prepare with four bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, a living room, and kitchen. Imagine your getting-ready pictures backed by soft, natural light, cream walls and dark, antique wood. Descend one of the elegant staircases in all your wedding finery and glimpse the transformation of our grounds through quaint picture windows.

Tucked away on an adjacent property, the Mountain View Escape offers a well-needed respite from wedding preparations surrounded by the crisp peaks of the Sierra Nevada. In the living room, floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the space in stunning natural light while offering you and your crew stunning mountain views.

Only 500 feet from Twenty Mile House, our Northfield Cabin is the perfect spot to enjoy some quality time. This two-story cabin provides the ultimate outdoors experience and the deck is ideal for taking photos, backed by an impressive moose rack. For something more secluded, the Trackside Cabin abuts the creek and lush forest, where you may hear the rumble of a passing freight train.

A BRIDGE TO FOREVER, THE MINER’S LOST TREASURE & More

bridge over jackson creek, Miner’s cabin & much More

Steps away from the Trackside Cabin and our forest ceremony site, the bridge over Jackson Creek’s charm has made it a staple photo location for many of our couples. Perched atop the rustic wooden planks with the glitter of the creek below, this romantic spot beams with rustic elegance and forest charm. Infuse your first look photos with pine perfection and the sentiment that your love will rise above any troubled waters.

For those looking to soak up some rustic elegance, look no further than the Miner’s Cabin. A nod to California’s rich mining history, this cabin provides a stunning backdrop. The dark and light weathered wood provides unique visual interest without distracting from the focal point - your love. While we’re not sure if its founder struck gold, when the beams of light filter through the branches you’ll discover that this spot is the true treasure.

SAY “I’M FOREVER YOURS” IN THE GREAT OUTDOORS

enchanting forest, main garden, rushing river

One look is all it takes to discover why our forest ceremony site is our most popular option. The regal pines make a powerful backdrop for your vows as they reach their boughs toward the sky. Dappled sunlight floats through the branches to bathe your joyful moments in golden beams. You can even hear the murmur of Jackson Creek as it flows nearby.

As our dedicated Grounds Manager Jason can attest, the finely manicured greens and gardens that surround Twenty Mile House are as beautiful as they are meticulously maintained.

We receive compliments on our grounds year-round and it’s no surprise why. Let the Main House be the backdrop to your ceremony, surrounded by two acres of perfectly manicured flowers and cottonwood trees.

There’s something uniquely romantic about getting married a stone’s throw from a sparkling river. Make your way through the smooth river rocks to a pool of light next to the lapping shore. Watch the water glisten as you say your vows on the banks of the tranquil Feather River.

FIND THE PERFECT BACKDROP FOR YOUR MEMORIES

miner’s cabin, rushing river, historic train tracks

Every stretch of our 200 acres is bursting with picturesque beauty. For those who seek variety, the natural landscape is as diverse as it is stunning. From forested paths to sparkling riverbanks to peaks overlooking the vast wilderness, you’re sure to find exactly what you’re looking for.

If you want a historic touch, make your way to the Miner’s Cabin. This rustic hidden gem adds something unique to every portrait it’s a part of. Plus, its location makes it a prime spot to soak up that golden-hour glow. If you didn’t capture first look portraits on the bridge over Jackson Creek, you won’t want to miss your opportunity to cross a bridge to forever as a newly married couple.

For something natural, but with a bit of sparkle, the river’s edge is beckoning. Don’t worry, there’s no need to get your feet wet! When you perch on the large, smooth river rocks along the shoreline you’ll look as though you’re floating on the current.

The boom of the railroad industry is one of the reasons Twenty Mile House and the town of Cromberg rose to prominence in the early 1900s. Freight trains still run the historic tracks abutting the property, making their presence known during the day with their rumble. Bordered by thick pines and topped by a brilliant blue sky, the train tracks serve a dual purpose as a gorgeous photo backdrop.

OUR COCKTAIL HOUR & RECEPTION SPACES

the garden, general store & outdoor patio

Dine in natural elegance when you host your reception among the trees and florals of our garden. Toast the friends and family who joined you on your special day under the light of the vast mountain sky and our custom outdoor lighting design.

Indoors or out, our spaces are equally sublime. Indoor festivities at the General Store highlight the unique history of Twenty Mile House.

Originally used by travelers to refuel during a journey through the Sierra Mountains, the General Store now serves to shelter your wedding day from the elements or just provide some historic charm to your festivities.

To cap off a most beautiful celebration, our outdoor patio serves as a bar area and dance floor. Keep the celebration in full swing well into the evening under the twinkling string lights and soaring pines.
