The Twenty Mile House is a phenomenal place, a true gem locked in time in all its glory. For our event, the ceremony, reception and lodging for some of our family and friends took place all at the TMH. Our family and friends traveled from all over California and some from Colorado, they all exalted that the experience was worth every mile. THIS VENUE WAS HANDS DOWN THE BEST DECISION WE MADE.

When we first heard of this venue, I was unsure ONLY because it's about 4 hours away from the Bay Area, where most of our family is from. When we left the tour, my fiancé and I both agreed - we LOVED it and the drive is totally worth it! I truly appreciate everyone who helped make this a special day! I felt so at ease and that we were able to be with our guests and not have to worry about anything. After the wedding, and even now, I'm getting feedback from guests that this was THE BEST wedding they have been to - that's the best feedback I could hear! THIS PLACE IS PURE MAGIC.

I cannot rave enough about this venue. My husband and I are in the Bay Area, but we absolutely love spending time in the Sierra Nevada range. We wanted an outdoor venue in the mountains we love, and we found TMH. It is more beautiful than pictures could possibly show. It has everything you could want from towering pines to a small beach next to a beautiful river (that you can definitely swim in). We loved that we could stay on-site in the historic houses and that we could have the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, dinner, and reception all in one place. The staff are amazing!
